Israel confirms death of Mohammed Deif, mastermind behind Oct. 7 attacks

Deif had been wanted by Israel for a very long time, even prior to the October attacks. Three weeks ago, Israel targeted where they believed he was in Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza. Following an airstrike attack, it was still unclear whether he survived. However, the Israeli military has now come out with 100% certainty that Deif was killed.
