Definitely my favorite game of all time. Even at 52 I still play this game. Music and story. Can’t be beat.
-
"Cyan overcomes his fear of machinery by using a switch..." Imagine being so crippled by fear of machinery that a simple switch is what stands between someone living or dying.
-
I love how you need to rebuild your party + discover the new party members for the perfect ending
-
The true master piece of the entire series. This game seriously deserves a complete remake. Great video btw!
-
Thank you. I just relived the game without spending 40 hours.
-
Suplexing the Phantom Train...
-
"Gestahl announces that it is Celes's birthright to rule the world with himself and Kefka" Well that's what 90s Nintendo made him say. In reality he wanted Celes and Kefka as breeding stock to repopulate the world once he was done reshaping it.
-
This could be a Netflix series with several seasons.
-
I remember back in 1994 being awestruck that they managed to put this much game, in this level of quality, into a single 16-bit cartridge. The character arcs, the story, the atmosphere... Now, over a quarter of a century later, I still hold this title in that same high regard. It is the epitome of all things a JRPG should be; in many ways, it still hasn't been eclipsed.
-
FF7 got all the attention but FF6 will always be the best.
-
Don't care what anyone else says..... BEST. FINAL. FANTASY. EVER!!!!! and one of the top 5 best games ever.
-
The music of this game is for some reason extremely embedded in my mind more so then most games but similarly to Chrono Trigger.
-
I liked how you put all the events in chronological order
-
This hands down one of my favorite entries in both the Final Fantasy series, and in RPGs entirely. Its such an amazing story, with such amazing music.
-
Kefka is one of the best videogame villains of ALL TIME.
-
FF6 is one of the greatest games of all time
-
Addition to the ending: Flying away they see people rebuilding their towns and preserving nature, indicating the world can be restored to its former healthy and balanced state.
-
"wow that was badass!" "you don't know badass until you've suplexed a ghost train" "... what?" "SIGH... Kids these days"

A great video like this deserves more views and discussion. People in more popular videos always forget to explain the Gestalt Empire and the Returners, they get more excited (rightfully so) with Kefka's World. I also noticed you did a great script by using the information of the subquest into the main lore (Odin's story as an example), recording the right moments and I also like how you do the musical bridges. If you ever need English to Spanish subtitles you can count me in ;)
