What is it with modern stadiums looking like hospital bed pans?
  • @malikb8680
To me option A is the best. To me it’s the modernized Old Trafford. Something that can resonate with the older generation and appreciate by the new generation. Option B just makes it look like a giant space ship lol, it also looks the Old Trafford feeling to me.

Option A all day. Those British roofs are iconic. Just have to rebuild them with new angles so fans can have unobstructed views of the entire stadium.
  • @Ninochew
Option C. Just like what Tottenham did. Still having matches at Old Trafford while rebuilding the New Old Trafford. Get in the latest techs, so it doesn’t only for football matches and get more profits from helding other events like Bernabau.

Love the bit of 1966 footage, works brilliantly for historic stadiums that have developed over the generations 👍
  • The people in the terraced houses behind the railroad might have something to say about option A + B. 😮
  • @roadrunner6224
Option A and A+B are great ways of delaying that project for a decade, because every single neighbour is going to sue the club.

Basically, stadium must be rebuilt because the structure is obsolete, this requires several reconstruction plans or a completely new stadium.

Red brick facade or go home. I've had it with silver spaceship stadiums. Tall, steep, red brick, minimum 100k capacity and keep it on the current site. Happy to ground share with all the L Lancashire teams while it gets done.

Yes to sorting the South Stand, but no to the aesthetics of the options. All look soulless. If nothing else rework the roof so that it doesnt leak and I can see ALL the seating from any seat. That would increase the atmosphere for sure
  • People talking like option A isn't an option because of the houses. Those houses are worth 350k (15 houses). Do you think 15 x lets say 500k premium (7.5 mil) will be an issue to a company valued at 65 billion? Do me a favour.

    A+B expand + upgrade looks amazing 👌🏼 ✌🏼💙🙏🏼👍🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I’d prefer something like option A but can they not change it so the roofs on each stand are all straight instead of on a slant like they are now?
  • Beautiful video thank you for posting it on YouTube. I hope from my heart that the Glazers and Sir Jim Ratcliffe decide to expansion Old Trafford on the South Stand. The cost is apparently £800 million but in return we will have a wonderful old Trafford expansion It would be an honor that Old Trafford has 88,000 to 90,000 spectators.

Absolutely love the railway integration concept to ensure that stand can be enlarged too. Should be "Old Trafford Presented By Ineos". 👍
  • @zeeox
All of them are worth a shot. But I think the new Bernabéu architects would sue on both option B or A+B! Joking aside, if they keep the pitch where it is, it will be an absolute crime with B if they didn't then cover the southern railway and max out that extra capacity.
  • @tdyerwestfield
It's such a crumbling ruin that the largest club stadium in the UK isn't being used when the UK hosts Euro 2028. OT needs a major upgrade, it probably needs a complete rebuild, demolish the current stadium and build a new one.
  • @PHDiaz-vv7yo
While this additional option looks epic and I love the railway tunnel, I’m imagining the south stands reflective appearance cooking the residents behind from sunlight
