I'm a huge Arsenal fan but this is such a beautiful and inspiring story. It proves that football is for everyone. Well done to Ochirvaani, Wayne Rooney, and Manchester United ❤

As ASIANS, we know how many LATE LATE NIGHTS we have spent watching this team, kick off would be 1am, 3am but we always tune in even we know we have very less chance of winning the game. We sleep by 4am and wake up next day 7am to go to work. Manchester United is everything for us, can't even miss a single game.

Ochirwaani said that while he was in Iran, Iranian people helped him a lot and were kind people. Thank you people of Iran 🇮🇷🇲🇳

14,000 km is no fluke. In any mode of transport. But d to cycle every meter of the way for your club? That's dedication beyond words.

I cried.. Your journey is inspirational. A lot of us refuse to get up out of bed to see our dreams through, yet this man road through 20 countries to see his idol. Unbeleivable♥️
  • As a Mongolian, it's so lovely to see it. By the time TVs started broadcasting the Premier League, most of us were teenagers or young men who struggled in life. Life is not easy in a developing country. But nevertheless, we'd watch the Premier League or Champions League and we bonded over as boys and men. Great victories, bitter defeats. Memorable goals. Fond memories. ManU lifting the coveted trophy in Moscow, Ronaldo crying for both missing the penalty and being relieved that they finally won it. Top level rivalry between then giants like ManU, Liverpool and Arsenal, new threats like ManCity with Arab owners and Chelsea with Roman Abramovich. Good times. Thank you, Ochirvaani.

This caught me off guard. Cried, smiled, the lot. Sometimes I feel like giving up but it’s people like this who remind me that life is worth fighting for.
  • Last January my husband and I saved enough to come all the way from Singapore to Old Trafford too, for the derby game against Man City. The day before we drove from Cotswold and reached Manchester after evening. It was cold and wet, we are not used to the weather which was nothing liked our sunny homeland. But we decided we can’t wait to see The Theatre of dreams. Fortunately our hotel is not too far away and after some searching around , we finally reached Old Trafford. It was quiet with just the two of us, and we just stood there and cried. I hope the players can understand, we foreign fans worked so hard to come see you guys, please be proud of the club and the team. Every single time you come to this theatre feeling tired and frustrated, please think of the fans who love the club and support you regardless of the team performance. This goes the same for all foreign fans of all clubs, most of us won’t even get a change to come see a live match, and had to stay and watch a match on tv/computer at 3am in the morning in Asia. Think of us, and play with pride. Even if the result wasnt good, as long you fight hard, we will know and will continue to love and support you.
