This video is on a land navigation kit I assembled. It contains many useful items for navigation, as well as a clear map sleeve for your topographic map. It is a handy little kit to keep all of your navigation gear organized. I give credit to Rocky Hollow for giving me the idea. Good Kit - is put a red light such as a photon or a nitecore tube rechargeable led in there for night navigation and also a nite-Ize 6 inch gear tie for easy route measurement. Other than that, great comprehensive kit.

Good kit there .. I would add some para cord to the map sleeve then you can hang it around neck for hands free .. cheers I will build a kit cheers Chris & Sam

Rangefinder takes a lot of the guess work out, pacing is a good backup in case your batteries die

I weak spot for me as well!!! Well done on the kit!!! I do not know if you would be interested or not, but a sub (John Lord) sent me a bunch of topo maps for our state if you would be interested? Thanks for sharing your kit!!
