i played solo on a lightly modded server... or so i thought...
The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

i like playing the 2x vanilla servers cuz its modded enough that farming isnt tedious, but isnt so heavily modded that it still feels rewarding to get loot and pvp

It's hard to find servers that are 1.5x or 2x that aren't just p2w messes through donating for kits/guns. That plus servers like this where the "2x" is really closer to 4x because it's double the loot rolls from barrels/boxes but also double the amount.
