Xxxtentacion has many face tattoos, including a numb tattoo under his right eye. X always had a negative image because of the things he did in the past (he was a big problem in Florida) but as he got older and more mature he changed his life around to become the leader of the youth and misguided before he was shot and killed during a robbery at age 20. Getting “caught in traffic” is a double entendre for getting caught and killed by your enemies while also having the first meaning to.

That refrain of "Don't go to sleep, don't go, stay up and don't go." Whether or not it's meant, it reminds me of when my PTSD is at its worst, because you stay up to avoid the night. And also because you got to the end of the day, and you don't want the next one to start because you're exhausted and just trying to survive is too hard. Facing those nightmares followed by a whole other day of getting to the end is just: nope. Let's put that off for another hour. Another one. This is a really interesting question, because I was asking it the other day and lots of people don't die in their dreams. I was surprised. Is it just me? Because I've definitely been murdered quite a few times in mine.

I recommend his song revenge. Was the first song I heard from him when I realized he’s an actual artist. And regarding his line “I don’t want to go outside, get caught in traffic”, it’s actually quite depressing because he literally means he doesn’t want to get caught in traffic in his car because someone can kill him. This is exactly what happened…

Just to clear up confusion you may h he wasnt caught in traffic he was STALKED right in and out of that dealership! They knew he had that money on him! i get sad every time i drive passed. Great reaction as usual!

X is literally one of the reasons I'm here today his music ment much to me it helped me get thru my lowest so much that I actually contemplated taking my own life when he past bcuz I felt that I lost the only thing keeping me alive but with the help of his music and others music I started listening to I made it out that hole and am doing pretty good now im now almost 4 years sober and am in a loving relationship and tbh if it wasn't for x or peep or $b I probably would've od back in 2017 bcuz thats when the only thing I wanted was to take drugs and die but they're music got me out of that lifestyle and I'm forever grateful 🙏 rip x rip peep rip juice and thank you for everything ❤

He actually meant what he said about the tat on his face. He had multiple tats on his face. Most popular one is the tree of life on his forehead.

Getting caught in traffic in slang terms can mean getting killed in the street. Mainly getting seen out by those who wants to do you wrong while driving and unable to go anywhere

5:20 Getting caught in traffic is a slang term. If you are stuck in your car with nowhere to go, people that want you dead have a stationary target. X grew up in an unstable home and was in and out of the prison system as a young teenager. He probably knew some people he had done dirty at one point or another when he was desperate wouldn't be too happy about him blowing up and becoming rich. The tragic irony of this line today is that he was boxed in leaving a dealership and shot dead in a robbery in his car, giving this line a chilling feel.

Getting caught in traffic is to get caught lacking, Paranoid about if someone's gonna pull out something on you in traffic, its just real life Trauma in music form. Lol i got caught it was a life changer fr lol
