Åkebergveien Raised Cycle Track (Oslo, Norway - September 2023)

We start by riding East from a bicycle turn lane on Grønlandsleiret to access the Åkebergveien raised cycle track. As we approach the intersection of Åkebergveien and Borggata we see a raised crosswalk and curb extensions to improve pedestrian safety. At this intersection we also see a curb cut to help enter or leave the raised cycle track. As the ride continues we see a regular crosswalk followed by a second raised crosswalk. As we near the end of the Eastbound raise cycle track we see a bike turn box and public washrooms.
Next we turn around and head back downhill to Grønlandsleiret. We conclude the ride with a view of an Oslo city bike station (OBOS) located in a public space with seating.
