# 186 The Spirit World Part 2: The Disembodied

Another question i was thinking about is ....When we die and go to the spirit world, is it true that we go there as how we looked in our prime or as a young adult. And we will be made "whole" as in, if we have any missing limbs we will have it back.... Will we be made "perfect" or should i use the word "whole"? Im assuming that if we had mental problems, sickness etc., this would all be gone entering the spirit world?... If so, what about same sex attractions? Gender dysphoria? Pedophilia? Rapists? Murderers? Narcisists? ... I think of these things as mental disorders and/or diseases, i would think that if we are made "whole" again in the spirit world, these disorders/diseases would cease.... Right? I always question this & try to figure this out how this works, because from what i understand, someone with an addiction such as a heavy smoker or someone who suffers from food addiction, that these habits or feelings will still carry on with the spirit in to the spirit world... That the spirit will still crave things that we've allowed our physical bodies to live that gluttonous lifestyle. Ive read somewhere that even some spirits that were addicted to smoking here on earth, craved to smoke in the spirit world, in so much that they pretended to have a cigarette in their hand and pretended to puff on a cigarette as if they were in the physical. For some reason, this example showed me the importance of controlling, training & discipline your flesh... And to fast. What are your thoughts on this? I hope i was able to articulate my question efficiently...hope it made sense! Thanks again!

I was allowed one memory of the pre-mortal existence, but have no clue about the post-mortal existence except what I can find in scriptures. I have had several family members come to me in dreams, but I have not been allowed to cross that divide...yet. But we will all get there eventually. Thanks so much for this! I could study/talk about it forever! Joseph Smith said we should study death more than any other subject. Good video!

Question.... When we die and go to the spirit world, will we be allowed to remember our pre-mortal life? Also, I'm wondering why did we need our physical bodies to learn and progress.... Couldn't we do that in our spirit estate? I think I knew why, but I just want to hear it from your understanding.... Thanks!
