I will never forget Joker’s iconic “THERE ARENT ANY LAWS AGAINST THE POKEMON, BATMAN!”
  • @romanhoppe3868
“THE PROTAGONIST, oh I should probably use his real name, THE PROTAGONIST” had me rolling😂
  • I love how Nolan isn’t tied down to a specific genre or style. He can spend two decades making some of the best action sequences in cinematic history and then suddenly make a movie comprised almost entirely of people talking in rooms just because he feels like it.
  • If Schaffrillas doesn’t use the Tim Curry “I’m going to the ONE place that hasn’t been corrupted by capitalism… SPACE!” line for Interstellar’s placement, I will be quite disappointed. EDIT: I am quite disappointed
  • The fact he was able to get General Audiences to watch Oppenheimer, a movie where its just 3hrs of people talking, is bonkers.
  • @realsanmer
My sister still gives me shit for crying at The Dark Knight Rises' ending. I was 9 at the time. Imagine showing a 9 year old Batman, a hero they like, fucking dying.

The thing about The Prestige is that the first watch will blow you away when you learn the twist, but the second watch will blow you away because you know the twist. There's so much packed into that film that you find something new every time you watch it, but for the first watch you don't actually need to pick up on any of it to enjoy the story and that's the craziest part to me.

Honestly, the fact that Nolan’s worst works can still be considered like 6/10 is a testament to how great of a filmmaker he is. Even when he misses, he doesn’t really miss.
  • Petition for Schaff to rank all of Guillermo Del Toro's movies, to me he's one of those directors that when I hear he's directing I'm immediately excited for the movie.
  • Wait till he finds out that Dr Mann's cannonical name is actually HUGH MANN lmao
  • @tankofish937
“the protagonist… im sorry i should use his real name. the protagonist…” IM CRYING
  • My favorite part was when Batman was like, "I'm Batman" and then he Batmaned all over the place. And after that, Bane talked about Squarespace
  • @user-gw3bs2in5i
Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow gave off MAJOR Tumblr sexyman energy ngl
  • I was disappointed that Christopher Nolan didn’t have Einstein explain the time he met Mr Peabody and Sherman
  • @omega5159
Ok so the reason The Dark Knight Rises feels so underwhelming is because originally Joker was going to have a massive role in it. Obviously after Heath Ledger’s death that plan was scrapped. Nolan had pretty much no passion for making a third film but was forced by the studio
  • @TheSuperCenaFan
"Swear to me" has to be simultaneously one of the funniest yet hardest moments I've ever seen in a superhero movie because of Christian Bale's delivery
  • @axelpalais2514
Every day we get closer to that "Every live-action Disney movie ranking"
  • @JustinHasNoLife
People need to talk about Memento more, definitely one of the most gripping examples of how a story can be revealed, not just told
  • I feel that The Dark Knight needs its own separate video. ‘Why The Dark Knight Is A Cinematic Masterpiece’
