Alien is easily one of the greatest films ever made. From the opening scene to the final credits, it is near perfect in every way.

I was born in 1992 and I've only watched this movie on VHS as a kid, but I'm definitely gonna go see Alien in the theater when this comes out.

Love how this paid homage to the original trailer. I can only imagine how iconic it must have been back then. And it didn’t spoil the plot, Ripley wasn’t made obvious as the main character in the first half and I love it.

  • This film scared the crap out of me at 15 years old when I saw alien for the first time. It still freaks me out to this day at 24 years old

That's how I originally saw it, in the theater back when it first opened. I was just a little kid and man did this film make an impression on me.

i saw it in theaters 10 years ago and it was a great experience!

got my tickets and my local session is almost sold out.
  • This is the best horror movie ever made. But still, I can't decide wether the first or the second movie is the best.

This film was just amazing for 1979. You had Star Wars in 1977 and you thought it couldn't get better than that. When I saw this movie, in the cinema in 1979, it disturbed me for weeks. No other film did that to me, not even The Exorcist, at the time.

I saw Alien and Aliens as a double header on the big screen during Covid. What an experience.
  • Alien is the first movie I watched on home video Betamax when my uncle splurged and bought his first VCR. I will never forget the experience watching this movie for the first time. Big screen here I come, ticket booked. It will most likely be a digital showing, but I would wish it has a film showing as well.
