Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign. I wish we wouldn't have heard Mae speak until the movie's release, it would have been a bigger suprise and we would have share the same reaction as the apes.

Really feels like a stealth remake of the 1968 film: - An orangutan filling the role of a scholar or a tribes’ wise “man” - One intelligent human with more “modern”clothes amongst all the humans that have regressed and are wearing simple clothing. - An extended scene of apes hunting a human(s) in a field of long grass - Apes being shocked into silence when they hear a human speak for the first time in however many centuries

I've heard about this series so many times but never had the chance to watch until a couple weeks ago. It's absolutely captivating, beautiful, awesome. I can't wait to watch "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes".
