Hey baby, you and me been dancin' around a fire
One misstep from fallin' into smolderin' desire
Like moths drawn to the moonlight after the summer sun retires
Hey babe, you and me been dancin' around a fire

It's just one two-step from goin' down in flames
And waltzin' around the ashes in the mornin'
Searchin' for the spark to blame

Sawdust, smoke and lights
Mirrored moon burnin' bright
Would ya hold me close and tight now, babe?
Dancin' with danger in the arms of a stranger
Circlin' down a dancehall drain

Early mornin' light shines through a stained glass window
Outshinin' neon signs and dives that only we know
The preacher's leadin' the service, and you're singin' in the choir
Lead us not into temptation, no more dancin' around a fire

'Cause it's just one two-step from goin' down in flames
And waltzin' around the ashes in the mornin'
Searchin' for the spark to blame

We've been dancin' around a fire
Been dancin' around a fire
Been dancin' around a fire

One of the great songs. Very underated. When America finds it's pride again, this song will be back in heavy rotation. Elemental genius.

These boys are from west Texas, the Permian basin, Mojo country and they are damn good, especially my nephew through my brother’s marriage. He’s the one the cajon box, the drum box, no really all these boys are real fine musicians and your going to hear more of them in the near future! They’re just that good, if they come to play in your town I suggest you go see them. Keep up the good work boys, appreciate you!!

From the hills of Appalachia to the plains out west, country music’s been the voice of those who work the land, dream of a better tomorrow, and find comfort in a simple but deeply movin’ melody. Let’s remember the pioneers who, with their guitars and banjos, forged the first chords of what we now call country music. Their songs are witnesses to history, capturing the struggle, hope, and determination of the American folks. Every note of a fiddle speaks of freedom. Every word from a cowboy tells a story of resilience. Every chord from a guitar takes us back to our roots, where music reflected our simple yet meaningful lives. Today, more than ever, we need to reconnect with that spirit. In a fast-paced world, country music reminds us of the importance of our traditions, our land, and our identity. It teaches us that no matter how far we go, we can always come back home through a song. So, friends, let’s listen with open hearts and souls ready to soar. Let’s revive the days of old, when country music was the soundtrack of American life. Let every note inspire us to value the authentic, the simple, and the true. Long live country music, long live the USA, and long live our musical heritage!
  • Good LORD, this is a banger. Good job boys, no matter what, stick together.
