I still don’t understand how the CEO of a company can be on the board. That seems like a major hinderence to productivity and change. If the ceo wants a raise and the board makes that decision, him being on the board is like “ well duh.” A ceo is supposed to answer to the board, not influence it.

How do you replace 70% of an incompetent, ill minded staff if the CEO and the recruiting are part of them? Perhaps the only thing that´s running well at Disney is the cleaning schedule of the toilets. ( I would have said IT/data security, but since the furry hack...)

Mike is correct, and no glimmer of hope for Disney. The money needed to repair the parks and upkeep is staggering, with them ignoring the general upkeep of the parks so long, it is going to cost a pretty penny to get them back to looking pristine once again. They have been spending money they could ill afford to lose with all those flops, and any new movies after Dead Pool are going to flop. Then with the economy as it is, I think they are looking at major income losses in the future.
