The Road to Hana is the #1 road trip in Hawaii. A must when you're in Maui. And it's all about the journey, as there are so many beautiful stops along the drive. No hurry to reach Hana! You see so many waterfalls! Amazing! 😍 Actually, there are more stops along the way than you can actually cover in one day, so you'll have to choose which ones to see. You can also overnight in east Maui and have a second chance to enjoy more attractions.

This video is a detailed guide to help you prepare for the road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii. Along the vlog, you'll see the 10 stops we chose for our day trip, and in the end, some more specific tips about things we learned. One thing I forgot to mention there: Is the road to Hana dangerous? Not during the day, as people tend to drive carefully given the narrow road. At night I'd avoid.

Maui is a beautiful island in Hawaii (actually the second-largest, only behind Hawaii island) and is the 17th largest in the United States. It's quieter and more relaxed compared to Oahu, also with fewer tourists. Nature here is wild and untouched in many places.

And the Hana highway is certainly among the most scenic roads in the USA!

► WHO AM I?

I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

I loooove this series in Hawaii, thank you for these amazing videos!! 😻 I binged through them way too quick! Haha Especially thankful for this one, I got so car sick halfway on the road to Hana that we had to turn back, but I'm so glad I still get to see the beautiful places we missed in your video! Can't wait to see the Big Island through your eyes, it was my favourite! 😸
