We visited @stonemountainpark1 for their last classic Lasershow Spectacular on April 29th, 2023. After 40 years, they are retiring this show but will bring it back from time to time in the future.
There will be all new laser/fireworks/drone shows with updated technology in the future. This show is about 45 minutes long with some fireworks at the end. Most of the original music can be heard with the show. Note the last 90 seconds of the show we had to move out to a wider shot as everyone stood for the national anthem and it started to rain hard so people were scrambling for cover.

If you haven't ever experienced Stone Mountain Park you need to go in person. It's amazing between the laser show and fireworks and hotels/camping. They are hosting different festivals throughout the year. Look for flash sales on their website or Groupon for your best deal on parking passes and event/attraction tickets.

It started the year I was born and I would have went to the show if I had known it was the last one I've been every year up until 2021 covid hit and I had not been back yet but was planning on taking my grandbaby this year since she's two and able to enjoy it and jump around and dance and stuff and I just found out from y'all then I'm not going to get to take my grandbaby to see the thing that I've been enjoying every year literally since the year I was born and took my daughter to every year since she was born so thank you for allowing me to enjoy the show through your platform since I didn't know

They needed to update it but it’s awesome show remember as young kids we use to go watch it but I hate they closed the museums and then the boat ride and all that unless it was open up again but when we went almost everything was closed and the coolest stuff was gone from what I could tell. We use go to there water park and all kinds of stuff there the tram was even closed when we went so we wound up hiking the mountain and my wife was about to kill me kept telling her just little more where almost at the top and started that at probably not even half way up 😂 she gave out really right before the top unfortunately she didn’t believe me due to me telling that almost there when we wasn’t 😂

Does anybody know will they still view the Lasershow Spectacular for the 4th of July Celebration this in 2023, even though they aired the last original classic Lasershow in late April of this year?

Just saw the new updated show yesterday and while the drones and laser lights now are cool, the new cgi images and "direction" of the small clips are not so great. Maybe it's nostalgia but The Devil Went Down To Georgia is still there but with new graphics. Unfortunately it looks like a very cheap youtube cgi kids show :-( The old laser version looks way better and the song is edited way better too! The new one cuts out the devil calling out the demons to play, it just cuts into them playing!

This is not the original classic laser show. It did not even have the song Dixie by ELVIS Presley in it. Sorry you have never seen the original.

So, why did THE WHOLE Dixie Land by Elvis portion get cut from your posted video?? Don’t advertise it as being the “full show” when cuts were made
