I worked in the toy dept. at Target in the early '80's, so this was like a video scrapbook! You can also add Strawberry Shortcake and Smurfs! On Cabbage Patch Kids mornings, (when the populace knew we had gotten them in the night before), we saw some of the most outrageous battles amongst parents! It was the highlight of our week!

The symbols on My Little Ponies weren't called "Cutie Marks" until generation 3, which came out in 2003. Otherwise, good video :) I was obsessed with He-man, She-ra, My Little Pony, Thundercats, Voltron, and TMNT.
  • I knew a dude back in the 70s who bought a house that had a central vacuum cleaner. But his wife couldn't use it because they never could find it in order to empty it. True story.

He-Man, G.I. Joe, and Star Wars figures for the win. šŸ„‡

I'm pretty sure I still have my Cabbage Patch doll somewhere.

We grew up in a large family and there was no way my parents could pay the high price the cabbage patch kids sold for. Fortunately, a store in our local mall was raffling one off and my two older sisters won a cabbage patch kid and gave it to my younger sister and I to share, I'll never forget how excited we were. I remember Strawberry Shortcake dolls and Smurf figures were popular too.

Loved so many of these. 80s G.I. Joes and M.A.S.K. deserved a mention too!

Iā€™m in my 50s, and I still love Care Bears, Transformers, and TMNT, lol. Preferred lifelike model horses to My Little Pony. Loved micro machines even though I was about to graduate high school when they came out. I was in the Star Wars camp and had just about every action figure and ship they had. If I could go back in time, Iā€™d tell my high school self who was about to go off to college NOT to sell that stuff at a garage sale šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø! I loved Pound Puppies and Monchichi but I donā€™t remember if those were 70s or 80s. Cool video!

I never heard of some of those things. Love the rolling pin drawer idea. I remember avocado colored everything in the kitchen, the stove, the fridge, cabinets. 70s, It was too much

Born in 95 but loved playing my dads NES. Not sure what ever happened to it, but that duck hunt game was my favorite
