A friend of mine had a premature baby; her family threw her a welcome home party and I gifted her one of these babies. She’s a doll collector and didn’t know these existed. She was happy that premie babies existed. I didn’t explain to her that it was just a smaller baby than the Barbie ones because she was just so happy.

Toya, those baby swaddles are adorable! I bet you could probably have a mini Baby GAP store, or a Carter's for the new mom dolls to shop in, or maybe give your Target a baby section.

I have been drafting my own patterns for years, but I am really grateful when anyone saves me a few steps. :D Thank you so much for having all those free patterns on your website. It's incredibly kind and for people who don't know how to draft a pattern, it's a lifesaver, no doubt. Encouraging people to learn to sew is a worthy goal in its own right. :)

I adore these babies. I'm just waiting until they are in the shelf at Target. The bottom part that was cut off the tumble could be turned into a cup by turning the leftover tab back to the bottom and gluing in place to make the handle.
