    This particular mission was very interesting to me... believe or not, it brought me to tears that I had a very very small glimpse of what my great grandfather saw there and wrote about in his memoir. He fought on the Ottoman side of the war, for six months before he was ordered to move somewhere else. He described the Australian soldiers as big, strong and the bravest he had ever seen.

    As a Kiwi / New Zealander, i can tell you that we have a day where we celebrate our forces, the ANZAC / Australia and New Zealands army corps. on this day we have a 2 minute silent moment to honor our heroes and some times shared lunches with Anzac cookies!
