All this bluegrass greatness in one place! You can’t beat it! ❤
  • Saw Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush Edgar Meyer and Bela Fleck onstage together - "Strength In Numbers" - at Telluride in 1990 - 33 yrs ago - when none of them were even 30 yrs old, yet.. Mark O'Connor was with them, then. And now - here they are - grey & white hair - still friends, still playing together. And they've added Brian Sutton and Stuart Duncan. Brilliant playing . . .

This level of pure talent is rare and will propel the Bluegrass spaceship into the future with a whole new legion of fans that cannot help but be blown away as are longtime fans.
  • Meyer's technique is sublime. His playing just looks effortless. Pure, fluid expression.
  • @f5mando
This was phenomenal - my only gripe was that Sam's mando was low in the mix, even for his solos.
  • とても贅沢な時間を共有させていただき、有難うございます。❤
  • Love it! The superstars of their instruments. Of course, they practice because that is what professionals do. However, the complexity they bring to their game is phenomenal.

Up on the hill where they do the boogie. Love John Hartford.
  • This is classical music. Incredible musical knowledge there!
  • I’ve attended several “Flecktones” concerts, but years ago when I was well into adulthood, Béla autographed Flecktones t-shirt for me. Nothing intelligent came to mind and I said something inane like me “starting to play banjo was his fault.” I would like to have a second try at talking to him!
  • The only problem with attending a Béla Fleck and the Flectones concert is that after your first one you will Know you won't be able to talk or applaud after the 4th or 5th song! All you have left is to stand up and slam your seat down repeatedly .
  • These musicians fill up the tank every time… I’m good for three more months. Thx to each & all of you, players & listeners
  • YOO MON this is the stuff, the real deal. Remember seeing most of these guys in the 70s and 80s and into the 90s. Louisville, Ky was home base for New Grass for a bunch of years. You could catch them at some of the local clubs before performances at The Lonesome Pine Specials. Most of the members of this gang were present. Caught Bela and the Brothers the night before their premier at the Special.
