"Outdoor retreat comes with bugs" Yeah which pack doesn't?

Carl's Guides Dine Out CC makes the pack actually work and you can cook and run a restaurant. It's the only way I can play with the restaurants. I know EA should have fixed it, but thank goodness for modders and Carl's Guide

Realm of magic is one pack that probably makes me the saddest. They totally missed an opportunity to make the pack immersive. It's a shame.

Realm of Magic would be the best Gameplay pack if the Greenhouse was actually usable and you could grew magic plants, but I guess we need to wait for the "green thumb" dlc for that lol

Gotta totally disagree about vampires. I have to stop myself from making every sim a vampire. I adore them. Probably cos I still haven't left my twilight phase 😂

I always look forward to the annual sims pack rating videos from you

Dream home decorator is so good tho, I use that stuff all the time
  • @nakseli
I use Dream Home Decorator in 99% of my builds, can't live without it lol

Here to see if Satch needs to reaffirm that he is in fact, not a bottom.

strangerville is a great pack, i love it. the story is nice. you don’t just watch a movie once, so you’ll replay it more than once every now and then. and the military career, build/buy and world are great
  • I love Outdoor Retreat! It's in my top three for gameplay and I think the world itself is fun and engaging. Many of my Sims who start with nothing travel to Granite Falls as soon as they can afford it. They can build both Logic and Handiness, in addition to Gardening and Fishing skills. I also love collecting the insects, especially the Dragon Dragonfly, which is worth $600! I play a lot of Rags to Riches, off the grid, simple living Sims, so Outdoor Retreat really fits with my primary play style. I am literally NEVER bored by this pack. I can see where it would not appeal to players who play a more career-focused/social game. To each their own. 🥰

Parenthood is more important for caring for infants than Growing Together. Yeah, I said it. I love Jungle Adventure and don't play it that often. I did make it the base of one of my legacy generations. Werewolves is one of my favorite. I only bought Vampires and RoM because of the alleged lore crossover.

I love the idea of dream home decorator but the fact I can't even leave bc it is bugged out to not end my work day ruins it for me. so glitched.

I kinda love vampires gameplay features more than werewolfs

I love vampires personally and would not play the Sims without it, like the gothic architecture stuff is a necessity for the styles of builds I want to create and there's a mod I have that enables vampires to turn sims into "human cattle" to feed off of and you can choose to allow or not allow them to even talk to other Sims. I love how dark that is. (Google Vampires Can Kill by Zero Sims 4 Mods to play with this, it's so fun!) I feel vampires suffer the most with the Sims age rating as you can do goofy "werewolves peeing in the house and ripping up furniture" stuff with them but the appeal of vampires is to have much darker, sexier gameplay about power exchanges, losing touch with one's humanity, being able to rob hospitals for blood would have been an easy and thoughtful addition. If you're doing vampires you need to engage with a lot of not family friendly stuff or they're boring.

I like the vampires pack but then again I am very biased, since generally I like vampires and I like having a vampire character as opposed to just a plain ol' sim, I also like the stuff that comes with it because it's an aesthetic I love. So I think when it comes to that, it's a matter of taste more than anything.
