I don’t think of you as the person who “hates the sims.” I think of you as the person who “demands answers!” Like we all should. 😂

Social bunny is a perfect example of a “we will be improving it but for now there are a few basic responses and messages you can send and receive” blah blah blah. Social Bunny is INSUFFERABLE for me

After I bought Cottage Living I had a sims couple move in a cute pre-made house. I couldn't understand why they wasn't using half of the house! I finally put the walls up and could see that there wasn't any doors for them to access that HALF of it! I quickly added two archways but how does the person who built it forget to add doors themselves?!?

There's something that really drives me insane. They updated the Caliente household and didn't change their relationships, like HOW DUMB CAN THEY BE?! Didn't they see that we've complained over YEARS for that?! I'm tired of pretending there's some lore going on, and the worst part is, they've already updated them, they won't do it again, so we have to say thank you for a cosmetic makeover. And now they're teasing a Landgraab makeover, I'm soooo sure they'll forget about Johnny🤬

9:27 The answer is they don't want to have to animate a sim opening and closing a lid on a bin, or stepping on a pedal to open and close the lid. It's too complicated for the people with millions (billions) of dollars available to figure out. The weird bin that zaps plates can get away with a lid and no animation since it's an unrealistic fantasy item in the game.

I wish they would include pull-out trash cans you can put under the counters, it would be so good especially for small kitchens

I honestly love Neighbourhood Stories. Not because it's good but because it makes the game so chaotic. Like why do sims marry the most random sims? Why does the headmaster from Highschool Years always have like 7 kids before dying and leaving the older kids to raise them? Why do the Goths now always get a horse? It makes no sense but the chaos is hilarious

What I don't understand is after 10 years, the sims still don't use their closest sinks to wash their hands! And they still use the shelves only to hide dirty dishes!! 😮‍💨😂

I hate the loading screen, loathe it...I stopped going to other lots as much to just avoid the load screen. I love the chaos of neighborhood stories, random townies adopting loads of pets and kids! I truly wish they would give us better organization for build/buy...it is a nightmare to navigate.

The hiding items behind swatches is incredibly annoying. I always find something cool i could’ve used in an earlier build because I didn’t know it was the 5th swatch of a completely unrelated item
  • @ladyowl8732
The fact that you have to type an exact word to get an item you want, but the names of objects can be random to what they are
  • @seacoloredsky
i have a hard time believing they've never fixed the broken lots like... how hard can it be? or am i missing something?
  • @firstnamenicole
What's most frustrating is this is all so easy to fix......
  • 0:43 I may have to check this to confirm but I believe it's for you to customise if you would like your played households to be affected by the system or not. So they added the option so you don't have to turn them off one by one. But it should still work for unplayed households
  • @bribri2367
The item sorting is truly the absolute worst, I think about it everytime I play bc it’s so hard finding stuff. There’s so much wrong with the game 😭
  • @TheDawnofVanlife
There are two neighborhood stories. Played households and unplayed households (if you click the unplayed tab when you go to manage households, you’ll see neighborhood stories aren’t global they have played/unplayed household settings separate —- thank god, cause I rotate a few families in the same save and I don’t want my families touched by neighborhood stories, but the rest can be). The settings in gameplay settings is the unplayed family settings. You can toggle it off/on from either there or manage households. So you can have neighborhood stories on for unplayed households and off for played households or the reverse…..or have them on for both. So that your unplayed sims go on having babies and getting/quitting jobs or whatever, but the character(s) and families you control won’t be like reproducing or quiting jobs when you are not playing them. Having unplayed families and played families settings different is really useful for playing multiple families in the same save file. Though it could do with better tuning, I don’t hate it. Keeps the world going without me playing everyone, but still able to protect more than one family from neighborhood story nonsense.

Yes, Satch. It's always bothered me that there are unlit candles in the basegame that should've been functional lighting candles.
  • @maikejahn9130
They could even hire Simmers to redo the builds, there are sooo many who would love to do that.
  • @Ryokomo
I hate when my sims walk through walls instead of using the door.
  • The neighborhood stories gives the option to enable/disable for your saved households and also for other households ... that way if you add a sim specifically to be, for example, a romantic interest they won't go off and get married to some random townie and interfere with the intentional story you're creating ... but the stories for townies/random npc's can proceed without having to go adjust the settings for each of the individual households that you want to include/exclude.
