Thank you for this tutorial. I’d heard about epoxy, but never used it. I learned a lot!👍🏽

just take a blow torch through it lighter to the air bubbles takes it out less than 20 seconds you got clear resin don’t wait just take a torch to it Call it a day it’s safe it’s affective it works, I don’t have to put it in a mole you can use the torch after you’re done stirring take the torch do it a couple times it’s not gonna hurt anything and you’re not gonna have any air bubbles. once you transfer that into the mold you’re set.

Very informative ❤ I appreciate the clear examples and detailed explanation, my resin usually gets milky/stringy and I even heard on YT before that if it's milky it's correctly mixed and done. 😂 I have been very discouraged lately because of my last batch. Literally made it hard to come back to, ended up bendy. Way later I found out I can just coat it with resin itself and fix it but haven't got around doing it because again, so discouraged 😩 I am definitely still a beginner and glad I stumbled upon this!

Thank you so much for making this video I am new to using a epoxy resin. I used some for the very first time yesterday, and my epoxy was cloudy. I was wondering what I was doing wron, but after watching your video. It's because it was just old. I had ordered new apoxy that I will be using. For my Tumbler, but I'm very happy. I came across your video so very educational. I thank you so much for making this.
  • What a helpful video! I have struggled with epoxy resin and UV resins for quite some time now. I've watched so many tutorials, but yours is the most helpful. So what happens when you've followed all the instructions and your resin still comes out with blemishes? These little fine line cracks I want to call them? I have ruined so many pieces and I have given up faith that I will ever try resin again. I appreciate you!

Important point not to stir it very fast when mixing. In many video tutorials, they use an electric hand blender to mix the resin with the hardener or to mix in colors. But this makes the resin full of air.

See what you're saying probably why I made mistakes first time really didn't have enough go round to it but good to know probably was nervous first time went stir it too fast saw bubble on it
  • @jyllianjaxx5751
Can you stir resin to long? When resin starts to harden can you add new resin to it, so as not to waste
  • @kahlo.m7907

Thank you for your video and suggestions. I’m new to using resin and feel like I’ve followed all instructions: 1:1 ratio, 75 degree room, low humidity, mix for 5 minutes, etc. I’ve done 3 pieces (free form bowls) and they are all still very bendy even after several days. I’ll give it more time but it seems like they should be fully cured/hard at this point. I did use alcohol ink but not overpowering amount. Any suggestions?

I have just did my first resin mix and mine was the right one, I'm so disheartened, but will try again
  • @mathkor89
Thanks, the temperature thing I faced and didn’t know how the cause of it. (Seen someone use a jug with a push thing to pour resin, does that count as air tight?)
