Um... Never forget the horrors of the Birthday Boy or ComicPOP original Batman villain, the Jizzler .
  • Did anyone else notice how proud Sal was of Tiffany when he asked her about details to comic and she delivered the answers with such excitement. You can tell they were meant to be happy for all of you at Comic pop keep up the great work
  • @BBest1996
“Batman never stops he’s a god”-sal as grant Morrison
  • Doesn't get much creepier than Mister Whispers. The first Batman villian that really creeped me out and showed how mature these stories could be.
  • @superluigiac
Ngl, i cannot hear Morrison's real voice anymore, i only hear Sal's version when i try to remember...
  • @loganshirley9058
I love how in this trio Ben always manages to say something that brings Sal and Tiffany to a full stop 😂
  • @Southpaw-qf4ju
Another line Batman could've used was, "I am the terror that FLAPS in the NIGHT..."
  • @langleymneely
Just thought about it, none of the live action Alfreds had mustaches except for the 60s tv show version! I find that interesting considering the comic one is synonymous with his mustache
  • @Depthcharge2030
I wish they'd collect more of these stories from Legends of the Dark Knight. Like Batman: Shaman. DC needs to recollect that story.
  • @Grievousish
This book needs a sequel. Batman: Art Deco
  • @antdujar
The return of Sal’s Morrison impression and the whole section of batman having to find a better catchphrase for king of hell, greatness 😂 And the occult motifs definitely had presence throughout his Batman run.
  • @saracohle
Kinda cool to see Morrison carry the father dreams/guidance through and twisting it to introduce Dr. Simon Hurt with the face of Thomas Wayne and claim to be the devil himself. Let alone Bruce having the three nightmare dreams of future Batmen. I haven’t read this yet, but from this intro to Gothic I feel like Batman The Black Casebook and RIP are the books that directly act as follow up.

Sal's Grant Morrison impression never gets old for me.
  • @joezilla6615
Super cool episode. I'm glad no one has tried to make Mr. Whisper a recurring villain, he's scarier as just a single brush with the superatural/madness.
  • @LogantheSloth
This is one of my favorite Batman comics! There isn't any confirmation but Mr Whisper might be a reinvention of the Mad Monk, a golden age vampire villain. They are the first supernatural Batman threats, both wear dark red, and both are obviously evil monks. Seems like something Morrison would do.
  • @benbastian3011
Grant used to cross dress in a blonde wig in the 80s which is probably explains with the mobster in the elevator (great back issues man I’m a big fan of Grant.)
  • @Night221Shadow
Calling a book Batman: Gothic is like calling a Spider-Man book “Spider-Man: Culpability”
  • @yfullman
I'm so glad someone finally told Sal October is at least 4 weeks so you can have at least 4 spooky videos.
  • @Omar-wq9dz
Hey Sal, Ben, Ethan, and Tiffany, would you consider doing a Back Issues for Batman: Dark Victory, since you did Long Halloween?
  • @scoobers90
And I thought part one of Batman: Earth One gave me the creeps.
