I hope Governor Greg Abbott and the Attorney General follow through on this horrific and deplorable action, which makes the victims of violent crimes, including rape, to be victimized all over again. And do you call this America!!!!!!! This sounds more like a third or fourth world nation. I hope there is an investigation, and they hold people liable. It’s about time that public servants, including politicians, are held liable for their dumb, stupid, partisan decisions that hurt the people they represent.

Thank got we at least have the Sheriffs and Constables in Harris County. They really do seem to be the only agency with their heads out of their asses. I pay a SHIT TON of property taxes in Harris County / Houston. Where did that money go??? Finner and now Whitmire seem to be trying to pin this shit on a lack of funds / lack of resources... but sounds more like a lack of SENSE to me... and a lack of INTEGRITY. They need to publicly announce the person / persons who came up with this method of sweeping hundreds of thousands of uninvestigated cases under the rug--and anyone / everyone who knew about it and did nothing, said nothing.

  • The office manager was robbed at the cash register by an employee at our detail shop and we called the cops. It took 2 hours and even when we stood in the street and flagged down the xops they still wouldn't stop! When they got there two hours later the perpetrator was long gone.

Either reveal who did it or resign! You REALLY want us to believe Acevedo DIDN'T know who did it? They are delusional!
  • @ronjohnson9032
They will investigate themselves and find nothing has been done wrong.
