At times, we can often forget to give our mental health the attention it deserves. Some of our actions may be too mentally draining, such as holding onto toxic relationships or pushing ourselves too hard with school or work. It can be a good idea to step back and take a look at our behaviors and habits and ask ourselves the question: do I possess healthy habits? Or negative ones? I’m sure we all have negative habits, but now it’s time to start incorporating some mentally beneficial behaviors into our routines in hopes we can develop a new habit - a good one this time. • - I do a lot of posture checks throughout the day, and it's great for keeping me sane. - I have a serious problem with emotional suppression, as I am surrounded by extremely emotionally sensitive people and have a lot of trouble gauging my emotions. - My oversleeping is slowly clearing up, and I'm getting closer to a very routine sleep schedule. - My depression has taken my love of exercise into near non existence. - Socializing is absolutely one of my favourite things, but I'm not skilled at it, and I become very exhausted when around people too long - I sometimes overthink before acting, due to what has happened in the past when I don't think before acting/saying something.

Struggled with depression for 25 years. Just discovered how exercise and better dietary choices (mainly fruit/veg/low fat meats), loving myself and posture WILL make me feel better! Wish I had done this 25 yrs ago. Thanks psych2go, huge game changer. Love all your vids though. They help me through a highly unstable time in my life.
