Nice idea. I might try it. Showing the results after the demonstration would have been nice.

Nice video - keep it up. I’ve never thought about flush trimming in this orientation- I’ve only stood the shelf on edge and ran the router along the hardwood banding and having the bearing ride along the plywood. I like the idea, seems more accident proof!
