Illinois is another state that is deficit spending like no tomorrow similar to the federal government. And starting in 2025 they want to raise taxes over $1 billion to continue their deficit spending. Meanwhile, their pensions are under funded and they're giving away hundreds of millions of dollars to illegal aliens coming into this country. Sounds like a plan for success...

  • A dangerous situation is happening in the United States. There are many problems coming together, like rising prices, banks failing, a severe lack of rain for farming, a slowdown in the economy, not enough food and oil, and even shortages of things like baby formula and cars. It's all happening at once and could lead to a big disaster later this year or even sooner. I'm worried about my savings and retirement fund of $300k, which hasn't been growing at all. I want to figure out how to make the most of it.

The librarian next door retired at 55 with a $130,000 a year pension that goes up 3% a year. It’s criminal.
  • @jameshill1740
Taxpayers should never be responsible for anyones pension. A government employee is already getting a salary thru taxes. They should fund thier own retirement
  • @thundar9320
Born in Illinois. Love Illinois, hate the politicians who have destroyed it.
  • Just wanted to say how nice it is to see a father and son spending quality time together! ❤
  • @davidrohder7897
High taxes all because of Pritzker . Maybe if he had to go to the grocery store and pay for his food and gas he wouldn't be screwing the people of Illinois . TIME TO VOTE PRITZKER OUT .
  • @semperfi4046
We moved our business from Illinois to Indiana, we're doing just fine NOW. People of Illinois you get what you vote for
  • @Syerren
I live here and boy you ain't lying about the migrant handouts. Everyone is sick of them.
  • @grants169
Been in IL for 51 years. Last remaining family just moved out of state last month. All my good friends left years ago. There's nothing left for me here except high taxes and high crime. My youngest graduates high school next year and I'M OUT - Finally free!
  • @DarthBop
People are retiring with Illinois pensions and moving out of the state. If you have an Illinois government funded pension, you should be required to stay in the state.
  • @alienfiend1219
Same here. 48 born and raised for 3 generations. Soon as the kiddos graduate next year we're out! Let's see how Illinois stays afloat when all the taxpayers leave.
  • @MCC876
Michael, respect to your dad. It’s people like your father, who worked hard their whole life, didn’t take handouts, obeyed the laws, that made this country strong.
  • @bubbathekid7014
Sold my house in Illinois in 2022. Moved to SC. Best decision ever. This video barely acts the surface of what’s broken there.
  • @paulk.5521
You are absolutely correct. I am so sick from our state government and taxes.
  • Vote these liberals out! I feel sorry for Illinois....It's really sad that one large city in a state controls the entire state.
  • I fled IL 10 years ago due to taxes and laws. The problem is most of the people fleeing these states vote for the same stuff they are running away from.
  • @user-dk1nl6kc4p
Hi Michael, I am in Crystal Lake. Our governor sucks. It’s criminal the way the demorats run this state. 100% agree with your dad.
  • @littleonion7171
I'm a native and resident of Phoenix, Arizona. My taxes have been supporting illegal immigrants since the 90's. Greedy politicians and employers are fueling all of this.
