  • Not only is the price going up, but the amount of food your getting is less .

Last time I went to McDonald’s they didn’t even have a person at the register. I stood at the register for minutes before someone came to register. They were only wanting orders from their app or the stupid kiosk order thing they have. I wanted to make a verbal order and pay cash and it was like they saw an alien.

I don’t eat fast food anymore. It’s been years. We cook everything at home. Everyone really needs to get together and boycott these places that outsource jobs or put ai. If you don’t stick together nothing will change.

The cheapest quality food should never be this expensive.

Dad gets a big 👍 thumbs up for walking in the heat with you.

There's no way in hell McDonald's prices increased by only 21%. I live in TX and it's closer to 90%. It's absolutely ridiculous. Went to IHOP the other day and it was $22 for one meal. Luckily, I rarely eat out. Screw that nonsense.

If someone emails or text you from an agency regarding a job offer, and then they ask you to send your resume; that’s a sure sign that they are mining for data to sell. They always start their text messages with something like “we saw your resume…”
  • @FDLrick
90% of those fast food conglomerates having problems today were selling shitty tasting food, anyway. And people were paying the price for the convenience. It's a convenience problem.

I am an OTR truck driver amd travel all across the US. The last time I stopped at a McDonald's in California, it was a location in Barstow. I walked in and what I saw shocked me. A 2 cheeseburger meal was over $12, and a Big Mac meal was over $18! I laughed as I walked out.

Awesome that you're with your dad. Never take that for granted.

FYI everyone I worked for Hi-tech company in Maryland for 7 years Most of the employees were H1B visas from India. I was in charge on putting up job postings but it was rigged as they never intended to hire American citizens. The job posting was merely a formality/prerequisite so that the company could claim to the government that they needed to bring in somebody on an H1B visa since there were “no qualified candidates” in this country (they never bothered to look at resumes from American citizens).

Our economy is afflicted by uncertainty, housing troubles, foreclosures, global shifts, and the aftermath of the epidemic, all of which contribute to instability. To restore stability and drive growth, all sectors must urgently address rising inflation, slowing GDP, and trade disruptions.

There's going to be an avalanche of fast food restaurants closing their doors in the coming years.
  • @ryajsmit
No way in HELL will I download their apps
  • @ASOUL-rb9re
It's like every time I get fast food they want to show me their disdain in the food. Like they don't want you to come back.
  • @TheBigGMan123
I Stopped Eating "Fast Food" Years Ago because I Found out that it's Toxic Garbage, and Honestly I'm Glad They are going Out of Business, now People will have to eat healthier and learn to cook at home.
  • This is why I refuse to download the app and chose to either make my food at home, or go to a mom and pops spot. I'd rather give the small guys the money.
  • @kbbb4227
The sky background is so perfect it almost looks fake.
  • @meganne8
I’m carb and sugar free now so I can’t eat any fast food and most people I know are doing the same and we’re never going back!
