Ward University will be a teen drama type of series, but not really "teen" since the protagonists will be attending university - so I guess new adult? Whatever. It will be set in the sims universe, as usual, and mostly focused between Del Sol Valley and Newcrest, where Judith Ward herself has founded Ward University - a university of arts where students specialize in different branches such as acting, music, film, dance, fine arts, and creative writing. The plot follows the events of "Celebrity". Remember that music video about Thorne Bailey and Venessa Jeong I uploaded more than one year ago? Literally the SECOND thing I posted on this channel? Of course I was using a laptop, back then, so don't get spooked if you're new to my channel - those days are finally OVER.
Of course I'm still looking for some members of the cast and I still got The Witching Hour running - only three episodes left!!! O_O - so Ward University won't come out for a while, but I will be posting updates on Twitter, so definitely follow me there if you want real time news! @BoiSimmer
Last but not least, this will be pretty different from what I've done so far. And not only because of my new PC, or because of the help of voice actors. First of all, I plan on tackling many serious and delicate issues in this series, so beware if you decide to watch it because it might get really dark at some point. Unlike The Witching Hour - which, to be fair, IS pretty dark as well - Ward University will be closely tied to our world, the real world, so at times it's gonna hit real close to home. Just thought I should warn you.
Other than this, another reason why WU is different is because I didn't create all the characters in the show. I did a CAS casting call a while back, and some people submitted their characters - some of them with very articulate and endearing backstories! I like challenges, and I thought it would be fun to write a story based off the characters I received. And this goes specifically to the people whose characters were accepted: just because you created those characters, it doesn't mean you know everything about them... so there might be some surprises along the way.
