Drivers have been stuck for as long as 4 hours along portions of the Eastex Freeway as water rushed over the roads on Thursday.

    i wonder if the highway department needs to hire engineers that can plot river rise to redesign roads. perhaps using precast culverts that are an upside down triangle shape.. so the higher the water rises the more open area is available. this also reduces clogs.

  • Praying that the waters level down on the highways so people can make it home or to a safe place it’s scary to see and to be in this weather the long hours of waiting for a sign of relief is exhausting you guys hang in there n be careful
