🌻 Extra info about what I packed
I ended up taking around 4-5 tops in the end as I realised I also had my workout tops that I could wear if I wanted to. I also decided to take my older pair of Nike walking sneakers which I knew I could throw out along the way as I only wanted them for a portion of the trip. Packing this way really lightened my bag and ensured my luggage was only around 8kg~. Honestly, this has been the perfect amount for 3+ weeks of travel. This is exactly how much I take for 4, 5, 6+ weeks also 😊.

  • I’ve done all international (up to three weeks) and domestic traveling the past two years with carry on only, and it’s a life changer! So much less stress!

One of my biggest “flex’s” is that I can fit all my clothes for 2 weeks in one medium packing cube

Thanks for tipping me off about the foldable backpack, I didn’t even know those existed and now I need one as a day pack for my 2 week trip to Europe. I’ll be going to thermal baths in Hungary and will need to take a towel, swimsuit, and a change of clothes with me and that won’t all fit in my crossbody bag

Well done! I use packing cubes too, but I like the idea of using the flat bag for undies and socks. 😊

I've done carry-on only on my last two trips to Japan (albeit with a carry-on roller and a backpack that can fit under the seat) and it was a game changer for me. Since I visit family in Japan, it's customary for us to bring souvenirs when we visit, so I need to have a roller, but I'll look into a travel backpack and a sling perhaps when I go next time lol great vid btw. Carry-on only is the way to go!
