God I miss Laur with Sturg... I stood about 10ft away from him at their show in London in 2015 and it was absolutely a life-changing experience. His guitar playing is absolutely mesmerising and he never moved the entire show... what a presence and sound!

Ive only recently discovered Sturgill and if im perfectly honest , the thought that i may never be able to see him perform any of the beautiful music that we are all blessed to have known leaves me broken .

Sturgill on a telecaster in a 3 piece, awesome. On acoustic in a big band, awesome Playing lead for Tyler Childers, awesome. By himself on his HD28, awesome.

Sturgill's voice reminds me so much of Waylon's. When he belts out those lyrics you can feel it in ur soul.
