Police: Man killed execution-style outside Philadelphia mosque; 17 shots fired

It happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday on the 1500 block of Germantown Avenue in the city's Kensington section.
Police say the 43-year-old man was walking in the parking lot when he was shot in the head.
"You can clearly see our victim walking to this mosque for a prayer service. He was walking with another male. You see the shooter run up behind the victim, and from just a few feet away, begin firing shots," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Ive seen this Officer numerous times before. He is literally giving what you would find in a Police report.

Police had to try and rush this victim to the hospital to save his life however this man didn't make it. Prayers go out to his family for losing a loved one to such a senseless act of violence. We have to start doing better. If we as a community are not caring then we can not expect those from the outside looking in to have any sympathy. We'll march when it's a police-involved shooting but do nothing in cases like this. Don't get me wrong we do have some people trying to stop the violence and bloodshed but they need more to join the fight.

The title makes this sound like a random act or a hate crime. I'm willing to guarantee This is gang or drug related. It was noted he goes to prayer every day so they specifically targeted him there.
