I teared up thinking about how thankful that previous owner would've been knowing their baby was well taken care of after they passed away. I hope this lady has many more happy years with Beanie.
  • What a sweetie. 🥰A vet I knew in Illinois took in a gorgeous Russian Blue whose owners thought that 12 years was long enough and wanted her put down. Well, that did not happen. The vet adopted her. When I met this cat, she was 24....and still functioning under her own power.

She's gorgeous! So glad the two of you connected! Senior cats have so much love and affection to give. Thank you for rescuing her!
  • I'm so happy there are people who purposefully adopt older animals like this lovely lady. There are advantages and these people are desperately needed I'm told.

When I think of senior animals who have had one home their entire life, where they were obviously very loved, then their owner passes away and to end up in a shelter. It breaks my heart. I am so happy to see stories like these. Thank you for sharing!
  • As a senior human, this story warms my heart. Beans has found a wonderful loving home where she can rest & relax in her senior years. It's all any of us could want.
  • My three legged cat turned 19 Yesterday. Still Shining and living the best Life as i can give to her ♥️

God bless everyone who gives senior kitties a home! They’re some of the best cats ever!
  • May. Beanie live long and prosper. Thank you for giving him the chance.
  • Poor baby was grieving the loss of her owner and long term home. Thank you for rescuing her and loving her❤ Cat’s act like kitten’s forever😂

I adopted an older kitty cat years back that was the same situation as this one. Her name was Charlie & I felt so bad for her sitting way in the back by the litter box with 2 other cats younger cats. She was shy & scared so I took her immediately. BEST CAT we ever had and we had another 5-6 yrs with her. So happy Beanie got a home! 🐾🩷

Thank you for seeing her, giving her a home and loving her. Same thing happened to my Athena. 12yrs old and at a rescue. Saw her picture and adopted her a few days later. She was there for 6 months without anyone wanting her. We've been together for 1 1/2yrs now and so happy we found each other

I'm so happy to see Beanie adopted. "Orphaned" senior cats are forever passed over for kittens or young cats.
