Holy shit, old paintings DON'T naturally look yellow? I always assumed that the paints of the time just had a yellow tint to them. Wow.

At the end when it's revealed how beautiful the painting looks after the restoration is complete, it really displays the beauty of the woman in the painting, and the way she smiling at the end, it's almost like she's saying "thank you". 😊

This was both calming and breathtaking at the same time. Imagine yourself saying, "I'm going to strip the varnish off this 200-year-old painting, and out it back together like new." She did this as just another day at the office, NBD. Just amazing.

this is the video that ended up making me decided to study and major in Art Conservation in college ! obviously, things are always subject to change, but i find this so fascinating and i’d really like to do work similar to this !
