I mean, if someone doesn't like the summary, there's timestamps. I haven't seen over half of the movies you've covered, so I personally like the summaries.

"The infected develop an acute sensitivity to light." "Right, so once we have a location quarantined, the first thing we should do is cut the power." "That makes perfect sense to me."
  • The fact that even with modern medical technology late-stage rabies has a 100% death-rate is kind of terrifying.
  • @LuckyBones77
Fun fact: In a self-defense class I took in college, the teacher actually suggested that you bite, if you’re able- it’s so rarely done, so unexpected, there’s a good chance you can shock your attacker into inaction, and try to run. Like, there are higher priority techniques (kicking in crotch, kneeing in stomach, headbutting or elbowing the solar plexis, etc) but I always found the suggestion kinda funny.

"Oh thank God, send in the nerds" is the funniest thing I've heard in a while.
  • I had the rabies shots due to a goat on my childhood farm contracting the disease from infected bats, although I wasn't bitten by the goat it did salivate and vomit on me and I had several open wounds. Anyway, only one or two of the shots is administered in the stomach, the rest are deep muscle shots, generally given in the thighs or buttocks. From what with I recall the deep muscle shots were actually more painful surprisingly enough.

It's kinda wild how turning on more lights would've helped against the infection and the power shutdown made things more dangerous.

I'm so glad I found this Youtube channel. Dead Meat, Nerd Explains, FoundFlix, and this channel are what make my work days passable.

Keep your style the same exact way. The story recap and breakdowns in context are literally how I keep along with movies I haven't seen or don't remember everything.
  • Don’t listen to the naysayers. They’re just being selfish. The plot summaries are important for viewers who haven’t seen what you’re covering, or have but forgot too much. I always appreciate when a channel does this because it gives context to the later discussions. Giving skip times is also a good way for people who don’t want to see the summary to not have to sit through it. I think you’re doing pretty well, so keep up the good work.

Quarantine 2 was one of the first horror films I watched and was definitely my first zombie/outbreak movie. I must’ve been eleven or twelve, didn’t pick up on any of the whole doomsday cult plot, and ended up with nightmares for days. Now cults, contagions, and zombies are easily some of my favorite horror features. I’d long since forgotten the name of this film and what had happened in it, just vague bits and pieces of it and the restless sleep I had in my friend’s loft following watching it while she snored away, but clearly it left more of an impact than I knew.

A rabies mutation is, by far, the closest thing we have to a “zombie disease”.
  • @rickrogan2355
No one ever accused Doomsday Cultists of being smart.

One of my best friends is a paramedic. She works in one of the affluent suburban areas of a major city. She has a lot of free times during her shifts. So I think how busy emergency responders are is heavily dependent on the area and also how well staffed the individual stations are.
  • Ok so the big metal thing used to crush the man's head in Q2: Electric boogaloo was a part of the conveyor belt. The round things were wheels that carried the luggage from one part of the belt to the next. It can move up because sometimes maintenance people need to get through and crawling underneath those things is a bitch and a half. Source: Used to work with those things.

Man, if someone doesn't like the summary they can skip it. Huge reason I subbed to your channel was because you did detailed summaries without actually just covering the entire plot from start to finish, and you also go into really interesting scientific detail on things. I've watched all of your videos start to finish and will continue to do so, keep it up with the summaries!
  • @kenn_g_2007
I like when he does the summary of the movies he covers because not everyone saw or watches these movies Edit: Thank you this is the most amount of likes I had
  • Just discovered this channel maybe an hour ago. After binging a few videos I JUST understood what a "force multiplier" is and laughed. Brilliant.
