Thanks for watching guys! I am not sure how much I'll be covering series simply because I imagine I need to figure out a better way to present the summary lol because this was 1 season, imagine if something had like 12 seasons lol anyhow hope y'all enjoyed and stay safe out there! lot of stuff happening on the planet right now.
  • The bullied dude's father shouldn't have gone with the "prey fights back" chemical. Should have gone pure honey badger. His son would have been UNSTOPPABLE.

I loved how this show makes sure to highlight that no one is safe and anyone can die at any time. Showcasing actual sacrifice from established characters.
  • I really appreciated this show for showing the "wider" scope of a zombie apocalypse.
  • @KingTalion
That life advice from Roanoke, "I bet if you punch someone in the face hard enough they just stop bullying you" worked in my case, just in case anyone wanted proof of concept. I'm sure there might be different cases but generally bullies prefer targets who won't beat the shit out of them

This has got to be one of the most consistent zombie viruses I've ever seen. The zombies always behave the same way, the time it takes for a human to turn is pretty similar for every person and the zombies always have the same Durability speed and strength.

What really kept me engaged was the ingenuity of the students to move around the school. Most of the times I was not like "Why are they not doing X or Y" because I wouldn't really have come up with a better plan

Team Protagonist were great. But their number obviously held them back. Team Bathroom was solid. However, Big dude got a bad case of a "stomachache". Team Popos is still the best comic relief.

Yes, main girl is the only 'immune' person in the show. She is shown to be scratched deeply enough to draw blood by her friend who is infected by the hamster. However she never shows any sign of infection, or does she have the same mutation line as others who are infected. This would indeed prove she is truly the only real immune person. While other who are infected but not turned, simply fall into the lines of a new line of humanity born from the mutation of the 'virus'.
  • Fun Fact: South Korea is ranked 1st in Archery in the world. I am pretty sure it is for both Male and Female. So it is pretty common to see archery teams for high schools.

15+ years working in public schools has taught me that the "Punch the bully and he won't fight back" theory is utterly false most of the time. What generally happens is the bully goes from antagonistic bullying(tripping, name calling, etc) to enraged. The bully is usually more experienced and often kicks the shit out of the person worse than normal. I'm not saying don't fight back, just saying it's not a magic pill. Join some clubs, teams, etc. This leads to more friends being around you or elevated confidence. Both of which I have actually seen reduce bullying. Humans are often assholes, kids are just more honest with it.
  • The person the infected ignored could be the type to zone out or have lower than normal reactions to everything when you saw her get scared she wasnt actually scared just startled so you could say that was the reason they didnt go for her as nothing indicated she was scared like the rest of the infected people

DEFINITELY would’ve made an excellent 2 hour movie.
  • @SalviAlmighty
Yay! I'm so glad you noticed the emotional state of people influencing how the infection affects them! Also : On-Jo's Dad deserved so much better....

I think it's really fun that they went with a hormonal factor, not just a rabies or ebola relation. It makes it amusing to think about how I would react, since I know my body has a weird relationship to trauma. Specifically cortisol being low, adrenaline being high, and slight masochism triggered as a protective mechanism thanks to PTSD. And my nervous system is always hyper active- most likely due to an autoimmune disease (the suspected one, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, is in the late stages of research- but results are strongly confirming it). I think it would have been hilarious if they threw in a serious masochist who was in nothing but bliss as they were ripped apart.

My favorite thing about this show is that the military doesn't get absolutely STEAMROLLED like every other apocalypse movie ever
  • @teddnaing6851
Just love how Roanoke gives banging advice dealing with bullies.
  • @Ancr0ss
I binged this show, and all I could think of after it was finished was, “That was pretty good, but I’m really excited to see Roanoke cover the virus.” So here I am.
  • You did not mention the Pregnant girl except as a side note. WTH, She was a key morals point. She had her baby, Left the bathroom without the baby. Turned back after seeing the kids playing with their parents in the park. Turned around and took her baby with her. Then protected her baby from all the zombies. And when she felt herself turning she put the baby on a bench. Had the foresight to place to chairs against the bench so the baby would not fall on the floor. And tied herself across the room to the door, so she could not eat her own baby. And when she was thinking of ditching the baby in the bathroom the (teacher/dad/scientist/World destroyer) says to the Detective, "If you had a child you would know, You would do anything for your child."
