  • British people in Spain,France or Portugal never learn the language of their hostess, practice what you preach I would say
  • @ekunsa
I came back. My daughter, born not in Poland, did not want to stay abroad anymore. We are back in Warsaw and happy.
  • Brits have no right to complain about foreigners while they're building ghettos in Spain- filled with pensioners who refuse to learn Spanish and leach off the sun and medical-care. I say this as an English person who emigrated to Norway, I've yet to meet another British person who made an honest effort to learn  Norwegian- this is a story that is repeated all over the world: no matter the language; no matter the country.
  • As a 70 year old Brit it makes me sad to listen to these Polish people. I was shocked and disappointed when I heard the referendum result as I knew it was going to spell trouble and I wasn't wrong. Brexit certainly emboldened the racists and xenophobes so I wasn't surprised to hear what the Polish ladies said. It's not only Polish people being told to "go back to your own country", even some black and Asian people have received the same treatment. That some have been born here doesn't cross the mind of the bigoted racists who can't get their heads around that. I've spent years touring European countries, mainly Eastern and Poland was always a favourite. Whichever country I was in I would try to learn a few basic words but Polish is extremely difficult. Most young Polish speak English and a few older too though I never expect it from Polish people in my age group. Britains connections with Poland go back to ww2 when Germany had invaded Poland and we declared war. Young Polish lads who had managed to escape to UK were eager to join the armed forces and we had a number of RAF Polish fighter squadrons. Many sacrificed their lives to keep Hitler from our front door, yet now Brits (some) are telling them to "go back to your country" or demand they speak English when talking with their family members. I understand why they are deciding to return.......i'm not happy about the reasons and it makes me feel ashamed that Britons could do this to other people. What will become of this country I dread to think as what i'm seeing now is not good and had I been younger, i'd have left years ago as i'm sick and tired of the race hate and xenophobic insanity.
  • Why has brexit made all these people immediately think we don't want them there are many more issues than poles around brexit get over yourselves.
  • @rinusize
Too all Polish people wanting to leave GB. You're more than Welcome in the Netherlands.
  • wherever you live, there always is some kind of discrimination. even if you live in your own country. I'm polish, I lived in Poland, Japan for 10 years, UK, Ireland, Australia. Every single country faces migration and problems related. get used to it guys, the world is changing. btw, I really love you Irish people, you rock!
  • I am Spanish and I feel the same as all the Polish people in the video. Fortunately to me I live in a community where everyone is welcome, but I faced hatred in my previous job because I was not local, and this caused me stress. Brexit has left us, all Europeans, in anxiety and very sad as we are not welcome anymore.
  • Dear Poland, You are more then welcome in the Republic of Ireland, many of you live here already and we really appreciate you guys. Love Èire.
  • Poles in New York City, not a problem. Albanians moved into the north Bronx and in less than ten years started as building superintendents and now run hundreds of businesses. CoViD threw a wrench in the works, but if the Brits don't want you, then come to New York.
  • Here in America Poles have no problem assimilating. They are law abiding , hard working people. Here in Chicago we have over 2 million Poles . Their neighborhoods are clean and prospering .The second generation Poles are already fully integrated.
  • @Ksatriya
A country which looted many other nations asking for being left alone thats very ironic.
  • I speak Mandarin in London; they called me a chinaman; But I can speak 5 languages
  • I'm amazed how the BBC presents twisted facts and create a mood that only sparks more flames for animosity and racism.
  • @nifty2026
People come to Britain for one main reason. Money.
  • Polish are amazing and hard working people. Love from Lithuania 🇱🇹
  • I am from India, and I have travelled a Lot in Poland back in the 1990's. East to West & North to South. I must say that the Polish people are very nice and hospitable. I have stayed and lived with dozens of families in Poland and all have been very good to me. Kocham ludzi z Polski i kocham Polskę. I love the Polish people and I Love Poland too.
