Why Eminem's Daughter Hailie Jade Was SHOCKED During Dad's Hall of Fame Speech

I cant get over how well Haillie turned out, totally different from all the other celebrity kids. Eminem really did a great job.

OK i think Ems greatest achivment is how normal she is.

He quietly raised her so well. She had a college scholarship. Through it all he raised his kids and kept them away from the spotlight. When she won homecoming he watched it on a feed in a classroom so she could be the one to get the attention not him. Congrats on all of it!

Eminem obviously loves his daughter dearly and was smart enough to protect her from all of the fame and excess that celebrities like himself and their children often face by not having her grow up in L.A. or anywhere where she would be exposed to those things. He gave her a quiet, normal yet obviously privileged life away from all of that mess that being in the spotlight brings. She was able to thrive and live her life without cameras in her face and that's probably his greatest achievement. People can criticize him for many things but clearly he did it right where it really counted in being a great dad.

My son sat next to Hailie in high school graphic arts (public school) for 2 years and never connected the dots because she acted like every other kid. I admire that Eminem basically went to every parent teacher conference. When she was nominated (and won) for Homecoming Queen in her senior year he sat inside the school and they broadcasted it to him. He sat inside the school to not take anything away from her moment. I have seen him out and about in random places around metro Detroit and I am so glad that after his 1st blow up with success that people have learned to give him his space and not make a big deal about it.

He’s always had a great relationship with his daughter. Their love is so unconditional and I always love how much he talked about how much she means the world to him. True father + daughter relationship 🥹

I'm glad Hallie has a podcast, and I'm happy Eminem has a spot in the hall of frame now to solidify his legacy.

The fact that hailie finds fame a "culture shock" shows how well he raised her, by far his greatest achievement even with delicious drugs involved, "the way I am" comes full circle as she finds fame and cameras in her face weird. Well done em

Hailie Jade seems to be very grounded and responsible despite both her parents having substance abuse issues.

She has no idea how her father has helped and saved so many lives thru his music the best there ever was or ever will be.

I was a big fan in earlier days and still love to hear him rap. But I think most of us can agree, that no one thought back in the days of his first 3 albums, that Hailie would get out of her childhood that humble and normal. We all thought at least shed be a bit broke. But nothing! Eminem always promised to be a great dad for his daughter and actually it seems he really was. I love that to be honest and it makes him even bigger as a person.

The guy is pushing 50 and he still says to her to plug her ears, even if it's just a warning about drugs. Em's love for Hailie is just insanely huge. Kinda' inspired me to do the same with my daughters! Em's fr ya'll

I’ve been following the podcast and honestly, she is such a normal likable woman. Thank God her dad being a celebrity did not affect her at all in anyway . I love her podcast

Just shows how well that he raised her even with all the tours the music vids the writing new stuff the publicity stuff the ads the colabs he's done and yet he's raised Hailey to be a humble intelligent young woman that has a uni degree and isn't just expecting him to give her millions of dollars to spend it with the simple "daddy can I go shopping for new gucci bag" he knows how tough it is to be poor and he has taught his kids that yeah dad has money but you have to earn it before you can spend it
