A bear invasion is targeting a mountain resort town in California. The bear takeover is happening 90 miles outside of Los Angeles in the normally tranquil community of Pine Mountain Club. In just one year, there were 600 bear break-ins at homes and businesses. Ian Sawry was asleep on his couch when he suddenly found a 400-pound bear wandering in his home. Now, Sawry electrified his garage, windows and front door with highly charged bungee cords. Inside Edition’s Jim Moret has more.

I find it funny you call it "bear takeover" don't you ever for a second forget who's environment was stripped to build those homes and resorts.

Its not even there prime residence its a vacation home for many people. People keep encroaching in animal territory and building vacation homes what do they expect to happen?

Maybe they should stop building in the bears habitats. Never thought of that did they.

People breaking in to homes, no problem. Bears breaking in to homes, this will not stand.

People seem to forget that the bot only built in their environment, but have left them not enough room to be able to go somewhere without interacting with the homes. Their only coming around because their habitat is too small now, combined with the above, means that they're going to invade homes and etc. due to having nowhere else to go to forage for food, or just live.
