I have a final in a course called "History of Graphic Design" and the final is to make a timeline of the history of graphic design, from cave paintings up till the present. I am watching your video now, but had to comment how thankful I am. Thank youuu for taking the time to film this very informative video. I will send this video to my classmates! ❤️
  • Hey Ben, the image you used at 13:25 - the part where you mentioned Chinese moveable type - that image is actually Korean. I really enjoy your presentation, as a self-taugh graphic designer this kind of material is so helpful to me. Thank you for the great work!

Very helpful. I live in Switzerland and didn't knew how much impact the designers from this country had. Will help me a lot for my future career
  • 😱😲👏👏👏👏Hallelujah! You are a true legend in the design community. Never thought someone would be kind enough to dedicate this much time and effort into creating such great value. Hope bigger creators consider giving this some shine. This was kind of astonishing for me since I visited your channel after a long time. The numbers will catch up Mr. Kaiser.🙏
  • Thank you for video! I am newly studying graphic design at TAFE (Australian term for vocational colleges) and have found it to be quite helpful and enjoyable to watch.

Thank you for this presentation. As a university graduate, I missed the chance to explore graphic design and get a degree in it and even though this is a brief session on graphic design history, it takes me back when I hear a well thought out presentation.
  • @emilysmyth6921
Thanks for this overview! Just starting out my journey into graphic design and this was a nice little dip into the history of it all.
  • @jieun6050
hey, really appreciate this video:) just one thing I want to mention is where you're explaining about Typography around 00:14:00, the example is Korean not Chinese. It's Hangeul that's our own alphabet invented by King Sejong.
  • @lauravsthepage
Really loved this video. I am about to go down a research rabbit hole to learn more about the movements and designers you introduced here. I didnt go to art school when I was young because I bought into the belief that I would regret going for the rest of my life. Now I am in my late 20s and there is nothing about my teens I regret more than not choosing art school, go figures 🤷
