  • You started to comment on a Filipino singer expect a flood of love from Filipinos.
  • I’m not sure what I enjoyed most - her voice or your joy listening to her.
  • I tried that “aaahhh, eeeehhh” sound. Suddenly my mom kicked my door.
  • I love how he is mindblown everytime he repeats a certain part of the song like he hasn't heard it twice already. 😂
  • I didn't understand a single word, but I felt each one. What a beautiful voice. And that 'whistle tone'! ... wow! ! ! And she's SITTING DOWN!! Thanks for sharing this, John!
  • @kevinkasp
She's my vote to be the next Disney princess type character.
  • John - I will be honest. I have been following Morissette for a couple of years now and am amazed by her talent to convey emotion in her performance of songs. You can immediately tell that while technique is important to her, and she has amazing skill, that she connects with the lyrics and what the songwriter is trying to bring to life with words. I don’t believe that is something you can easily imitate. It is real for her and, therefore, us. Of all the reaction videos I have seen, yours touched me the most. Your excitement at what she did with the song and your analytical breakdown, was both fun and educational. It was obvious that your reaction video was truly spontaneous. That, sadly, is not always the case here on YouTube. Kudos to you and your masterful breakdown of her performance. Thank you for your honest and true reaction as well. It was an absolute joy to watch.

that beautiful whistle in the middle of the song amazed me ..She ended it with another one as if saying, "but wait there's more"
  • The whistle tone was impressive but that run at the end was even more amazing! To sustain that full voice with dips and crescendos for at least 10 seconds without taking a breath and no loss of power was absolutely incredible! I don’t think I’ve heard another pop singer do that, ever!
  • One of Mariah Carey’s music producers, Rhett Lawrence, heard about Morissette. Before the COVID19 pandemic/shutdown, he flew to Manila to hear her live. Long story short, Morissette had existing commitments and contracts, but when she’d fulfilled those—she embarked on working with American producers and arrangers. She speaks fluent English, which is vitally important. Everything is now on hold (worldwide), but I’m planning to keep an eye out for when she’s formally introduced to the American market. As always, I hope she’s not sucked into a maelstrom of sketchy decisions—and that the US music scene doesn’t corrupt her totally. Rhett Lawrence has a great reputation, so I pray she’s in good hands!! AMAZING TALENT. (Funny FYI: her name is Morissette because her parents were huge fans of Alanis Morissette!)
  • One of the most technically explained reactions to morissette's akin ka na lang. Such amazing coach. God bless sir.
  • Filipino here from Tokyo, the songs punch my heart that makes me cry.. if you only understand the song, you will love it more.
  • I got chills when he noticed how opened those vowels on that 14 seconds phrase. Youre the man Johny! salute and respect!

This is my comment after fully watching your entire video. I've seen so many vocal Coaches reacting to this and you're one of the best. I enjoyed so much watching having one of your best times witnessing a highly technically skilled and artistic singer/performer. Mori is also a powerful beast on stage that can perform 20+ songs in a concert.🥰🇵🇭💙

I watched over 100 reactors on YouTube with the same song from Morisette, whether influencer or legit vocal coaches. John Henny gave me the brightest, happiest, phenomenal, and intelligent reaction/analyzation. New Sub here.
  • @sl1gh
You're a good educator sir. The reactions are genuine as well. You've earned a subscriber sir.
  • Cheer from Indonesia .... ! Thats why my most female singer idola in the world are only Morissette Amon from Philipphine and Glenis Grace from Holland !!! Both are having "native" amazing vocal ...... We can see the real ability of the singer's vocal is during live performance instead of recording because recording need lot of enhancement including auto tune !
  • I am surprised you hadn't already done this, since it is already a staple amongst the vocal coaches on YouTube. You did have one of the best analyses ever on it. Thank you.
  • Just discovered this channel hours ago. Love this channel, genuine reaction i love your emotions!
  • Of all the reactions I’ve watched, you’re the best. Love your observation and analysis ❤️
