Well done Simon for not being afraid to switch systems if one is not working for you. I know you had some stupid comments when you first went to the OM-1 but you’re right, the kit is a tool and you go with what works best for you. Okay I was a little disappointed you switched from Nikon to Olympus because I have a D500 and I picked up some great tips on using the D500 from watching your channel but I didn’t stop watching just because you happened to change systems. I watch your channel for the locations you visit, the sharing of your field craft and tips on technique etc. not to mention your great humour. Keep up the great work.

Simon, that was a great video. I love how you plan and rearrange if needed to get your setups. It always shows that a great picture for the most part needs a lot of thoughtful input and time to make it happen. I know there is the occasional - right place, right time - but if it was that easy, it wouldn't be photographic artistry. Great work and thanks for sharing the tips and the outcome of your tips and hard work with us in these videos.

Cracking film Simon, fantastic shots of the deer. The Lagopus hide looks a good bit of kit. Will be interested in watching your review, at 6'4 it would be nice to be able to sit up and not be scrunched for up hours, like in my present hide. Hey Si just catching up on your last two so I binged watched back to back ! loved how you went through your process in this 1 ! you win some you loose some with them dam Buzzards three almost every morning with in a kilometre of the house on the way to work ! head out Saturday with the camera not1 even in flight ! Northumberland is a beautiful place the grouse is a very striking bird ive never seen 1 in the wild Il visit when I win the lotto :) !
