Your synopsis was awesome! This was the most watched movie of my childhood, and many of the lessons you pointed out were subliminally understood then.

He came to America to find his wisdom. His "Soul" mate. The one whom was made for him. Both strong willed and on one accord. Regardless of status. Someone whom would be by his side and lift him up. In good times as well as evil/bad times. Positive Encouragement is a strong trait to have when used purposely. Everyone has differences of opinions , even when they can't see the real clear picture.

Arsenio dressed as a Woman is the inside secret, and no I'm not surprised this is what we see today. This movie and others laid the foundation for this confusion.

I thought these life lessons gave me wisdom and understanding about some of things happening in my own life. I love Coming to America, its one of my favorite movies of all time, but i never thought I would learn so much from it. Thank you for showing us what this film was really all about.
