1980s. Anyway, how is your weekend?
-
Space goonies is looking great! I love the aesthetic of the Star Wars suburban neighborhood! We’ve only really ever seen locations like this in the prequels, like at Dexters Diner.
-
Max Rebo does actually talk in the Lego Skywalker Saga when you do his mission on Tatooine
-
So…like Goonies but Star Wars? Count me in.
-
This gives me vibes of Goonies x Star Wars
-
It looks weird yet also really fun and I’m all here for it. It has a lot of potential
-
Stranger things in star wars
-
It looks like they used the crazy cost of the Acolyte on this instead.
-
New Bombastic video? Todays going to be a GREAT day!
-

i like the cyclops looking eyewear
-
It’s releasing on my birthday
-
idk why but this trailer gave me that og 80s star wars feeling
-
Even if this ends up being more like Ewok Adventure or Captain Eo it'll still be a thousand times better than what been out the last while.
-
I don’t know why some are criticising the suburban town, in Ep.2 deleted scenes Padme’s house is in a very down to earth location in Naboo, like a Italian town street
-
I got to say, the visuals in this trailer looks amazing.
-
Star Wars is craving some R rated content.
-
Im willing to bet body parts that this is a reimagined origin story for Captain EO. The clues are all there.

I agree. This looks good. I've always loved the 80s Amblin style of kids on adventure. However, it seems like it might be dipping into it a little much and I'm worried it might be a copy and paste. With that said, have we really run out of original ideas within the Star Wars universe that we need Star Wars heavily inspired by other stuff?
-
Personally I’m excited for that one and I was not at all when they first announced it. However, it’s now very obvious that The Acolyte damaged really badly the franchise as a whole and a ton of people won’t even give this one a chance even though, as you said, the quality seems much higher, both from a technical and a creative standpoint. I really want to be optimistic about it.
