Black Lagoon Subbed and Dubbed mixed together — Balalaika meets with the Washimine Family

I decided to edit the subbed and dubbed versions together so that you can get both sides of the conversation. In both the subbed and dubbed versions (alone) there are some bits of information the audience misses because of the language barrier. Hopefully combining the two versions solved that problem while also making the scene a little more interesting.

Fun fact: it’s rare in anime for there to be a translation scene, so it’s likely that this happens a lot when scenes like this come up.

Her switch to Russia is kind of jarring with Balalaika's RUS/ENG VA sounding so different. But I do love the idea of a Black lagoon where people actually speak their native language during the scenes where they are canonically not speaking English.

This was so clean. I wish more shows just spoke their native languages and used subs interchangeably.

I wish they used Rock’s Japanese audio when he was speaking Japanese tbh Rocks va was good but his Japanese wasn’t great
