Think Kyle and Pops should have a knife building contest against each other. And viewers would get to choose a winner. That'd make a great content series!

I can see one of your knifes show up in an antique show 100 years from now. The expert will tell the audience about this father and son team from Missouri and the historic videos.

The only thing wrong with that knife is that I can't afford it. A real work of art.
  • @ecsix
Gosh that's beautiful. I love seeing dad's builds.

The attention to detail is second to none on this channel. Whoever’s making the blade! Great work pops
  • I don't know why dad just doesn't admit that he taught his son everything he knows đź‘Ť
  • Fantastically beautiful piece. Papa Royer, definitely one upped his game on this knife!

So absolutely amazing to watch. I came into this thinking that "No way in ¤"#¤"# I would ever pay $5000 for a knife, no matter how good it is, no matter how much money I have, not worth it ... " However ... the further I got into the video, the more I thought about it, the more I weighed cost of labour, craftsmanship, time spent, and material, and "How many of those do you have time to make in a month ..." ... well, $5000 is still a lot, but not as crazy as I first thought. Absolutely amazing craftsmanship and a joy to watch, thanks.

The edge stability test on the brass rod never disappoints...
  • That is Master Smith work! Every blade that is on this channel is ridiculous. Thank you for the Art you both create.

Nice to see dad's skills developing - beautiful knife. The Damascus was really well done. Loved the separation on the pattern.

Love this. By the way, the cardboard box on the mill catching millings from the fly cutter is brilliant, lol. Can’t believe I never thought of that

Pop's puts his heart and soul and blood into his creations... Kyle, yes, makes magnificent tools, he learned it from his father...
