We do a long awaited build break down on the famous hydraulic extending rock buggy the ‪@roXdawg‬ Abnormal. A Builder that is not scared to push
this sport to the limits to the point where high level rock buggies consider his rig is unfair. Stay tune to check out how he built it, how it works and if this thing actually works on the trail or if its just all for show.

Not only does it not take the sport out of it. It adds 5 other sports. Engineering, hydraulics, machining, dreaming and operation. This is flat out insane and maybe the most awesome thing I've ever seen
  • @paulbudd9562
That is the coolest rig I’ve ever seen. I’m truly impressed with his ingenuity and the skill it would take to operate that magnificent beast.
  • @rickcooper6817
That is the wildest rig ever. Extreme off roading is getting there by whatever means necessary in my opinion and he does it in amazing fashion. They should have named the rig "Slinky" because it looks like one moving through the rocks. Thanks for the video guys!
  • I barely know anyone who keeps a rig more than 5 years much less improving on it for 10 straight. Sick!
  • @colinpain4892
I think Disney called it "imagineering". This guy is both brilliant and persistent! 10 years or so of work/play to get to this, rock on!
  • @v.e.7236
Serious thumbs-up!!!! This is a rockcrawler's dream rig. You could have climbed over the Berlin Wall w/ that buggy.
  • @DadMods
I'm speechless. Dude is genius to not only design and build it but to drive the damn thing.
  • @chriskelvin248
Holy crap! Having massively extendable wheelbase controls for both ends opens up a totally different kind of driving style. You are no longer a slave to the traction of your contact patches! You can brace your downhill rear tire against a nice boulder and push the front of the car up and over the top of an obstacle until the front tire hooks around another boulder. Then, with the front hooked over a rock, you can "shrink" the wheelbase back, effectively pulling the rear up to the top as well. Incredible!

Such an legendary and epic rig!! Glad you came back to document the progress 🤘 I definitely don’t think this is cheating, it’s innovation and engineering at its truest form. But I don’t think this is the future either, it’s a unique but complicated and probably difficult concept to replicate for the average off-roader. I can see this branching off into a new sub category of offroad competition tho, like mechanical advantage buggy class or something where they are competing over unthinkable terrain no one else would attempt in a conventional rig. Excited to see what happens nonetheless!
  • Wow! That rig is crazy awesome! That took some serious ingenuity to create such a masterpiece. Hats off to the creator. 👏👏
  • @DLT-po6to
The engineering always has been part of the sport. Innovation keeps things intesting.
  • @chumpchange1846
There is no cheating in rock crawling unless you stack rocks. It's sheer brilliance.
  • @travisevans9086
Definitely not cheating, he's just having fun and wheeling his way. It's absolutely awesome.. thanks for the video
  • @JacobAnaya369
Not cheating whatsoever!!! That’s the most capable rig ever built hands down!!! This guy is a innovator and a genius, if the sport goes down that direction then so be it, if these other competitors can’t see the practicality behind this for the terrain, then they need their heads examined. If you can spend upwards of 80 grand on the low end to build these rigs then this thing has potential written all it! I’m sure once it’s refined it’ll be more and more practical and parts will start becoming available and you’ll see people grabbing ideas off this dude and trying to say they did it first but this guy is the only one I’ve seen pull this off.
  • @USMC1984
This is a beast! I have been a hydraulic mechanic for decades and the ingenuity put into this beast is above all else!! Just imagine what this will be like in another 10years!!!
  • @bacongl
Oh I am a firm believer in whatever gets you through the trail is fair game. This rig is nuts. I am shocked that it is so capable.
  • @stopdusty420
Been watching this guy since the first creation. If anyone is going to make a 4x4 unstoppable it's him. Wicked.
  • @Eremon1
That seems like something right out of sci-fi. Crazy engineering. Very impressive.
  • @joecarmean1079
There is no cheating in life. Only using all the tools that you have, to achieve your goal. Some people just have way more, and way cooler tools. Abnormal, is a bad ass rig.
  • @onesadtech
This thing is unreal! It's gotta be one of the coolest off-road rigs around.
