Great playing! Both guitars sound amazing but I gotta say, I was surprised that I liked the Martin better. Both beautiful though.

I like that Martin. Seems a bit louder and punchy sounding. Not as much low mids compared to the Bourgeios. I guess the Martin seems a bit more recording ready with less tweaking needed to get it to sit in a mix. The Bourgeios is like an ultimate campfire guitar and has that warm, authentic acoustic tone.

Nice comparison! The Martin has a brighter tone and greater projection of the mid frequencies, the Bourgeois has a sweeter and warmer tone, probably with some more pronounced low frequencies

What strings do you have on the 00 Martin? I have one of these sweet guitars, but I'm not happy with the stings I run on it. Thanks.
